Last week our summer plans revolved around everything patriotic of course because it was 4th of July week. We had alot of fun getting ready for the big day. Here's a look at our week.
Make Something Monday
Mister and I made a tie dye shirt using Sharpies and Rubbing Alcohol. I found the tutorial here. It was super easy and not messy at all. My only advise is to use the regular sized Sharpies not the little ones. And these shirts have to be hand washed. ( I have not tried to wash one on the gentle cycle) Mister was so excited and proud to wear a shirt he made!
Be Thoughtful Tuesday
This week we made strawberry freezer jam. Mister got to help stir and add the sugar. And taste test of course. Now if only I could actually remember to give it away to the people we made it for...
What's Cooking Wednesday
Wednesday was the 4th of July so we made this flag toast for breakfast!
I also had some leftover pie dough from my 4th of July pie so we made these pie dough hand prints. I traced Mister's hands on the pie dough with a knife, sprinkled them with cinnamon and sugar and then baked them at 350 for about 10 min. These are alot of fun!!!
Somewhere Fun Thursday:
On Thursday we actually cleaned our house and then on Friday we went to a friend's house for a play date!
Happy Tuesday Friends!
