Creekwalking..

"Children see magic because they look for it"

Tonight we went creekwalking and as we were walking down the trail Mister said, "Do you smell it mom? It's different. We're in the magic forest." One of those moments where you wish you could bottle up the childhood innocence and hold onto it forever. Sweet babies. When you look back on your lives I pray that you remember these moments.

Hard to believe my little peanut will be 6 months next week... only 12 pounds and already crawling... says dada and hi and cries over toys if she wants them. My heart is just.not.ready.

A walk with my big girl

Tonight Little Miss and I took a walk..just the two of us. This is a rarity, and was so fun to just hang out with Miss Personality. She looks like such a big girl in these pictures... she's growing up whether I like it or not! I love that she is wearing her big brothers shirt, my favorite little stretch pants, her Cinderella flip flops and a big old bow on top of her crazy, end of the day hair. This is how I will always remember her I think... beautiful, free and so full of life! Sweet girl..

Camping Party

For Mister's 4th Birthday we decided to do a camping theme. Mister loves to go camping/hunting with his dad every August and so it seemed like the perfect fit. Here are some pictures of his day!

The food table. I made everything out of old wood and paper. Easy peasy.

My wonky s'more pinata. I made it out of tissue paper, duct tape and old card board boxes. It actually held up!! Woo Hoo! Victory!

Little tent..

The cake and drink station. The pinecone garland turned out so cute!

The favors were "hobo" sticks. Inside were gummy fish and gummy bears.

The food was live bait (gummy worms) smores on a stick, campfire flames (cheetos), ants on a log, catch of the day (gold fish crackers)

and Happy Trails Trail Mix.

                                                                  scene from the whole party..

his birthday cake... I only got a shot with my phone..bummer. Aren't the candy rocks awesome?!? I placed the candles in the middle of the campfire... my favorite part. I'm a dork I know..

To welcome his guest I made this sign...

For a activity I made this deer target and the kiddos could squirt it with water guns... I wanted to do water balloons as well but of course I couldn't find them.. until after the party. Ha!

 Pretty sisters ready to party!

Mister loved his party. It was super low key, the kiddos just ran around and played in the back yard. It was such a fun day for such a fun kid! Happy 4th Birthday Mister!

4

My little man turns 4 tomorrow! Crazy!!! I am not going to say that it feels just like yesterday because ALOT has happened in the last 4 years! But I still can't believe that my first born, the one who made me a mama, will be 4. Mister you are a great kid. You are kind and caring and have a great heart. You are stubborn and serious and take things very literally. You are the best big brother in the world. And I love you to pieces. I hope you have the greatest birthday ever. Love you big little man.

(waking you up early on Saturday to see your new trampoline!! )
